We had an amazing stay at the guesthouse. The separate bungalow we rented was spacious and comfortable, with a good-sized room and bathroom. The staff were friendly and welcoming, providing us with helpful advice about local attractions and roads. The hotel facilities were great, allowing us to use the kitchen to prepare our own meals. The breakfast provided was delicious, with homemade cakes and good coffee. The view from the guesthouse was breathtaking, with a glacier visible in the distance. It was truly a wonderful experience.
There was nothing we didn't like.

Stayed at Guesthouse Nypugardar, a remote hillside retreat with breathtaking views of glaciers and mountains. Private rooms were fantastic: comfortable beds, spacious, and clean with a large bathroom and heated towel rack. Good proximity to Ice Lagoon, Glaciers, Hofn, and Eastern Fjords. Enjoyed a delicious dinner featuring fresh lamb meat from the farm and a wonderful homemade breakfast.
Friendly and helpful staff made the experience even better. Cons: Nothing to fault.

The bed was really comfortable and I had a great night's sleep. the location was perfect, with easy access to both the glacier lagoon and Hofn. the food from the kitchen smelled amazing, creating a wonderful atmosphere.
The WiFi was not accessible from the rooms, which was a bit disappointing. the thin walls made it difficult to enjoy a quiet and peaceful stay, as I could hear everything going on outside my room.

Wake-up call for Northern Lights. Amazing scenery, great breakfast choices. Enjoyed 2 nights in main house with comfortable rooms.

The apartment I stayed in had a private entrance and was newly renovated, with a stunning view of the mountains. The location was perfect, surrounded by a breathtaking landscape with zero light contamination. At night, if the sky was clear, I could enjoy the starry night and even witness the Aurora Borealis. During the day, the view of the three glaciers and the black sand beach was absolutely stunning. the food at the restaurant was delicious, especially the lamb burger.
The underfloor heating in the room couldn't be controlled and made the room uncomfortably hot, reaching 28 degrees. Though I was advised to open the window to let the heat out, it took some time to cool down and the first night was quite uncomfortable.
